Title: 1.6 8v or 16v?

hi guys, i am back! i just bought another vitara to add to my fleet.... only thing is i am not sure if it is a 8v engine or 16v?


How can i tell?

the vitara is a SWB 1994-5 1.6 EFI engine with auto gearbox

16 vlaves say 16 valve clearly on the valve cover(or really near it) plus they use funky spark plug wire boots that seal the top of the spark plug holes... 8 valves use conventional plug wires/boots...
