I read somwhere Crown Vic shocks fit on a Sidekick.
Is this true and what is the benefit..are they cheaper....Longer.....extened more....if it is a good thing do you order the same year as your Kick?....anyone know about this it would be good info.

it is my understanding these are best when used on the rear of the vehicle when installing spring spaces and doing the strut mount flip trick. I think the goal here is to give a little bit of extra down travel in the rear suspension to prevent it from banging into the end of the shocks when hitting the top limit of the rear suspension

You can only do the Crown Vic shocks
if you want your Track/Kick to look like this

All the info you could possibly want is contained in them!
I used 91 crown vic shocks and they measure 1-1/2" longer than stock, mount the same way as stock and are $5 cheaper each than stock (when purchasing Monroe Gasmatics at Advance) and they are perfect with 1-1/2" spacers. ::) ;D

Thanks a ton the information is perfect :)

Im using a pair of Monroe Sensatracks from a 91 Crown Vic. Unreal soft ride from the back. best money ive spent.

Depending on the size of your lift, Rocky Road has doetch tech shocks that will fit and provided extra travel. Check out the article on the rocksteady kit in the gear guide section.
