I have looked high and low for this answer but have come up with nothing! The Chilton CD didn't have specific information. I even did a search here, but I am not sure that the information is right...
It's a '96 Tracker 16v 2-door 4WD. When the turn signals/hazard work (which is very intermittantly) there is a clicking sound from the vicinity of the glovebox. I have checked the bulbs, fuses and suspicious wiring. They I CAN find.
In know, I know -- "why don't you just look for it??!??"
Hey, it's rainy, I can't get it in the garage, I'm 56... (Somebody call the Waahmbulance!)
So, where is it?
Clueless in this matter,

This is from Haynes book i have.. turn signal flasher is located near the fuse box.. on later models turn signals and flasher are contained in one unit.. Hope this helps..

Ack,
From what I can make out in my FSM it's under the dash on the drivers side (your drivers not mine  ;) ) Should be below the ECM, probably take the speaker out and you might be able to see it ?
It should have 3 wires, One Green - One Yellow/White  and the earth doesnt show a color but it's probably Black.
This info is from my Escudo/Vitara FSM but I'm picking the colors would be the same for the US sidekick/ tracker ?
BTW, it's sunshine all over down under  ;D ;D

Thanks, Mudfkr!
I forgot about the wires. I'll double-check the wire colors from the Chilton CD and the GM FSM... That might lead me to the flasher. Everything that I see under there is unmarked. Hopefully it'll be sunny and dry after church tomorrow...
Update:
The Chilton CD sez Green, Black, Yellow/Blue. That is what I'll look for.
BTW, hereabouts (Western Missouri and Kansas) Oz, is mostly associated with a place "Somewhere, Over The Rainbow" -- as in "The Wizard of OZ".
Based on the poking fun us natives get when we travel the rest of the US, I'd prefer to be from your "Oz"! Nobody would give me ap-Cray about Munchkins, Yellow Brick Roads and "Click your heels three times to get home"...

Sorry Ack I should have clarified "Down Under" By that I meant New Zealand. We're 4 hours away from Aussie or "OZ" by plane but a lot of people think for some reason that NZ is a part of OZ.
We are not part of Aussie, just some one had to be Aussies neighbours and we drew the short straw, Dam we got ripped off in that deal !! ;D ;D ;D

Hey, New Zealand would be a mighty fine place to live/visit too! Incredible scenery!
Thanks again for the info!
