When i order the rear locker do i want to order it with the coupling or not.  Thanks

With out(you want the cheaper one.)they work better.

what do the side couplers do? why dont you want them?

across the pond we call them side gears ,the mesh with the sun & planet gears and when you take them out to fit the lockrite pieces you see you side gears /cuplins are all good.

I doubt yours have worn unless its done 200k on th eclock

I expect rocky road will say the same "with out

what do the side couplers do? why dont you want them?
if you bend your axel housing the side couplers that come with the lockers are a finer tooth count(smaller teeth)and will not engage, the stock side gears will engage unless you bend things up so bad that you could see it.
