??? OK, this if my first time removing a diff, and this has got me compleatly stumped. I'm trying to remove the rear third member from my 92 kick 5 speed, to install in my 95 auto. Better gearing you know. I'm going to swap the whole front, case and all, but to save time and work I was only going to swap the rear third w/ ring and pinon. All the bolts are out, axles are out, But I can't for the life of me get the damn thing out!!! Is there some hidden bolt or some special order I need to follow? Thanks much.

BFH.....the diff is fitted using sealer rather than a gasket and the diff sticks to the casing....give it a few licks with a hammer and it should come free..............

Some times they are  pretty hard get to move, try jacking under the front of the third a little to see if that breaks the sealant and then it should come out, otherwise you can get a screwdriver or small chisel between the third and housing to get it started but that tends to mark the surfaces up alittle.
HTH. ÂÂ
PS I'm presuming you have the top A link removed ?  ;D

:D I used the biggist FH in my inventory, not a budge. Tried the chisel bit too. Before I could get back to check my post, my buddy stopped by, and he suggested the jack on the front trick. It worked, but I thought He was just another crazy Jeeper trying to break my Zuk. Thanks Guys for the suggestions. These things don't come apart as easy as Harley's. I guess I need to be a bit less delicate!

try a search for "third and member and removal" (no quotes) at Ack's FAQ (http://www.ackerdackerly.com/acksFAQ.html).
There is a picture at the end of the post showing how to easily remove the third member.
OOPS! Too late! You figured it out. ;D

Look again for a missing bolt.
Don't laugh
it has happened.
Top Middle bolt behind the third link mount.
It's kind've down in a hole.
