Are you ready for this?

I have seen it THREE times!

All on Samurais

The most common cause, I believe, is lack of lubrication either because someone forgot to top off the oil (eg, teenage daughter disease)  or - and this is my theory -  the mechanical fuel pump's diaphragm was punctured and gasoline thinned out the oil until the engine failed.  And the 1.3 engine has a mechanical fuel pump.

Do you have a 1.3?  or a 1.3 head on a 1.6 block?

If you don't have either of the above, then I'm stumped...

i have a 1.6 liter 8v and i did an oil change 200 miles before this and the oil level was right.
