Post by: Festiva on December 13, 2005, 07:47:27 AM
Hi guys, been having problems with my heater blower switch on my 94' Track, I had to clean it and rig it up with a pen spring to get by for a while,..

Whats the "offical" way to get these out? what a pita! i had to get my fingers all cut up and pull and yank to manuver the heater controls to pop the cover of the switch off and have the spring fly out,. etc etc..

thanks for your help!

Mine was soldered to the wiring harness,
but the problem with my lower speeds was
that the solder came loose, so I resoldered
it with Silver Solder, 2% and it's been fine
since, I don't know if that's what fixed it, but
I would get the highest melting point solder
available, as it seems to be melting off the
contacts

wierd, mine was plugged, and all contacts were solid metal right to the tabs that plug in.
