Title: 31's on tracker
Post by: nicksbar on December 17, 2005, 03:38:49 PM
Hey guys,
This winter im thinking of lifting my tracker (2 door hardtop). I want to fit 31 or maybe 32's.
How much of a lift do i need? Any recommendations?
Also my tracker is an Auto. How should i extend the shifter arm?

Thanks
Nick

these are 32's, with a 2 inch BL and 3 inch spring lift.  and a little modding to the front guards.

my soft top on 3" BL, and 3" Sus. 31"s should fit with the 3+3, but 32"s may need a bit of cutting and bashing.

and the auto shifter shouldnt need any mods, but the transfer lever should be extended. i just bent mine, now its in the floor.

so a 3" BL alone will not clear 31's??

I think it would depend on whether they were 31x10.5 or 31x9.5 ( I think they make those).  I have a 3" body lift and spring spacers and I am pretty sure 31's would fit no problem.

Axatar pic is my 90 Tracker with a 2" body lift and 1-1/2" coil spacers on 31-9.50x15 Swampers, 15x8" rims with 3.75" backspacing. Slight firewall pounding needed(had to pound over the pinchweld at the back of the front wheelwells).

2" spacer lift, and ALOT of cutting, I fit 31x11.50 LTB's with ZERO rubbing.

What offset are you guys running for  15x7 or 15x8 rim. I was thinking 4" because I am trying to keep the tires from throwing crap and trashing the body.

these are rings made up to sit on top of a coil spring to add a certain amount of static ride height. this will not increase flex, or suspension travel, but merely to give added ride height. mainly used to give extra clearance for larger tyres.

sizes can be anything from 1/4" to 2.5" or more, but not recommended.

should be made out of durable material, like hard UV HDPE, or plastic, or aluminium, or steel.

this is a 1" coil spacer on top of a rear coil ready to be installed.

if you know how to remove and install coil spring front and rear, then this is a relatively cheap and easy mod. sticking to anything under 2" will require no additional mods.
