Post by: troyshere on December 18, 2005, 08:42:53 PM
I looked this morning and Amy's black sammy had the dreaded crack starting on her windshield frame.

I thought about a cheap and easy fix, but hell I'm a fab guy so I fabbed something.

1/8 " plate plasma cut with stainless hardware.  I would have powdercoated them but I only do black.

Yep I know the date is way wrong on this camera.

Watch for them on e-bay.  My wife will be selling them before I can get them built.

Need to write up some mounting instructions and figure out how much to start them at.

You could have one style that is just utility look,
half moon, cost less, and the web style in 2 or
3 colors and cost a little more.

I would say about $25 to $30 for these, depending on
the time involved to cut and finish, figure your time at
about $30-40 an hour to be fair to yourself.

Good Luck
