Title: '97 tracker...soft top issues over the tail gate

The Tracker has a soft top with a bar that hangs over the tail gate, when closed.  The bar just hangs there and, of course, when it rains it poors in.  I can't figure out how the bar is suppose to connect to the tail gate and/or if it's suppose to attach to the sides in any way. 

any info and Pic's would be great.

I haven't seen a 95-98 up close, but the pre 95 have clips on the outside of the tailgate the the bar clips into.  The 99+ have a bar at the base of the window that secures to the inside.  The tailgate opens and closes independantly of the window.

The bar is supposed to attach to two side plastic pieces.

The ordering is somewhat complicated by different part numbers for 95, 96 and the 97/98 models.  I 'think'it should be something like 78580-63A00 right hand and 78590-63A00 left hand.  Suziki part numbers.  Geo may be different.

This are also 2 different 'caps' that fit on top of the tail gate.  The one that came with my used 97 leaked and was a little beat up.  When I ordered a replacement ($99), it was slightly different and worked much better.  No leaks.
