Title: Some Test Wheeling.
Post by: bhaugen on March 09, 2005, 04:14:35 PM
I live out in the Country so doing some test wheeling is easy for me.  I put toy axles under it and I am still working the bugs out of it.  I have a rear drive vibration from 25 mph to 35 mph I have to get rid of other than it being under powered it is doing ok yet.  I still have to do some cosmetic fixes to it yet.

I have a river flowing through my property so I took it down there and played around there for a while last week.  Here are a couple of shots.

Yup I have a 84-85 Toy axle and they have a truss built into them on the bottom.  They are not exactly square and not exactly round.  you can do it either way.  take square or round u-bolts and tighten them down.  They are tight, trust me.   Next chance I get I will likely put a little heat to them and form them around the axle more.

Hey bhaugen,

Little Q. would you mind if I copy your "piss on j**p" sticker, you'll never see it because I'm in Europe, but I like it very much! ;D

I got it off of e-bay last year.  I am not sure If he is still selling them or not.  I don't have the name of him anymore though.   Here in the states they have been fairly common.  Mostly between Ford and Chevy though.
