Post by: tlsrace on June 06, 2012, 11:54:18 PM
Hi all
My car is 2002 Aerio, and I need a car key chip, but I am really do not fully understand. I searched on line and found there are many IDs in these car key chips. Such as ID46 (http://xcardiag.com/wholesale/suzuki-id46-transponder-chip-10pcs-per-lot-637.html),ID4D(65) (http://xcardiag.com/wholesale/best-selling-suzuki-id4d65-transponder-chip-10pcs-lot-604.html)and [urld=http://xcardiag.com/wholesale/best-motorcycle-suzuki-id4d-6a-chip-10pcs-per-lot-601.html]ID4D 6A[/url]
Can anybody tell me what is the difference between them?

Suzuki usually use a Texas 4C chip, a key cutter should be able to read the key to determine what chip it is. Once you have the chip you will need to get the immobiliser matched to the new key code. Some locksmiths/keycutters wll be able to use a compatible chip and copy the code from an existing key.
