Title: Just bought a 97' Sidekick.
Post by: TheKiwiSage on April 09, 2018, 08:13:46 PM
I just bought a 1997 Suzuki Sidekick JLX Sport yesterday and it's about 107,000 miles with nothing changed or replaced but the fluids and windshield wipers as far as I can tell. What stuff should I be looking at replacing first at this amount of miles and after that what would be the first mods you recommend doing?

I would replace those items again, along with rest of drive train fluids, and then drive it.  These are fun rigs, enjoy it.  It won't take long before you will know where you are not happy with its operating characteristics, and then you can begin to actually plan modifications.
My first modification was rock sliders, because that is where my first damage was.
Enjoy your Kicker.

Every modification begets another modification.  Always!
