Title: Someone stole my hub. WHaaaa
Post by: Phase change on September 13, 2018, 03:36:01 PM
Parked on the street for a month while out of town and lost a manual hub somehow.  It’s on my tracker but it’s a samurai hub. Does anyone have one like this they’d be willing to barter/sell?

Ya I applied plenty this time. I’m a little confused by the cone washer things.  They bind onto the screws and prevent any kind of torque accuracy, and would seem to me to be a source of trouble.  Why do they do it this way?

They are a form of "lock washer" - think of the taper on ball joints or track rod ends - same principle.
