One night a week ago, I was driving and made a right turn, and then I hear a loud grinding noise. I then realized that I had run over the black curb on the black pavement, and the crossmember under the front diff was grinding on it. It didn't do much to the car other than scratch the paint under the crossmember(it did more damage to the pavement), but it made me realize how much worse it could have been (damaged diff, oil pan, steering components) and now I think it would be a good idea to put a skidplate on it. I have seen skidplates on ebay, but they are sold by those shady ebay stores that dont list a location, and I question the quality and how durable they are. I was wondering if anyone (including suzuki) makes a good skidplate that is durable and doesn't look home made.
