I need to build a luggage/tire welded roof rack. Ive serched, but not found any plans\
Does anyone have plans or photos for heavy duty roof rack that has a place for 31X10.50 tire.
My spare is pulling my back door off. 92 4 door sidekick

Before you start building check ebay. I've seen a few good ones on there. i'm also looking for something to hold a tire and gas can. Type in "cargo rack" or "safari rack"

just put one on my 94 sidekick 4 dr.  it came off of a mazda van and went on easy cause the rails ran the length of the roof and had rubber gasket.  has six cross pieces that cut easy to narrow the rack.  can line up with roof structures.  cost $15.00 at a yard.  would probably carry a tire.

I'm making a roof basket... oh yea.. you'll see. I recomend making one if possible because that way noone will have the same basket.. also it will be just how you want it
2000 Grand Vitara.. boondox coil spacer lift w/ pro comp 2 inch lift shocks and ome struts. 225/75 R16 Kumho Mt's, powdercoated wheels, rear brake line relocation and stuff to acomodate. custom exhaust and intake along with some 1 off accesories.
