Need A Body Lift
« on: February 24, 2005, 01:36:09 PM »
What are you guys using?

A client of mine wants a 3" body lift on his 90 tracker.

I would like the most complete kit possible, including bumper brackets.

What is installation like....time wise. Keep in mind, I'll be using the best air tools and a lift.

Called Calmini today. The sales guy was an ASS. What they claim UPS will take 5 days to deliver 500 miles.....is actually only a 2 day trip.

I wonder if the kit is actually in stock or will they put me off like the rest of us.....stringing us along for months untill we foget what we ordered?

Thanks,

Tony

Look in the garage sale forum, there's a guy selling a 3 inch calmini body lift. I think it's the biggest you can go (purchase wise) but I've seen 4 inch custom blifts on here. Rocky road and Sky manufacturing also have body lifts 2 inch, but I went with Calmini. Didn't install it yet, waiting for the snow to melt.

But like I said, there's one in the classified section for about 50 bucks off and it's brand new...

I had a 91 track with the calmini 3", it took a whole day (give or take a coule of wobblie pop ;D) with no bumper brackets (made my own later) I don't have a lift but all the tools.
When this thing hits 88 MPH your gonna see some serious sh!t (hahaha)

My used Cal mini 3" came with bumper brackets.

I have not installed it yet.  I am running a Sky mfg. sammy 2" on my 4dr kick.   Works for me but I'm not running bumpers.
