clutch isn't disingaging

i don't know if i spell this right but but something is causing my clutch to not disengage.  i keep tightening the cable(everyday) and now its as far as it will go.  any one know whats causing this.
i just like dents, i don't know why.

i have seen a clutch disc stick to the flywheel before. if there is a inspection cover on the bottom of the tranny crawl under there and get someone to work the clutch while you look to see if everything is working right.

The clutch cable outer sheath breaks down
and starts to compress, kind of like a spring
instead of being more solid, you need a new
clutch cable
