When my 89 Suzuki Sidekick goes through mud holes it starts to miss really bad. Then when i turn it off it won't start up again. When i bump it down hills  hough it starts right up i dont know whats going on. The water in the mud holes isn't even close to the intake so i know its not that. I already replaced the distributor cap, plugs and wires and that didn't help. So if anyone has any advice on what to do to fix that please tell me. Also before it starts up from bumping it it misses a little bit.

When you say "it won't start" do you mean it won't turn over at all, or it turns over ok and won't fire.  If it turns over, see if you can spray the inside of the dist. cap with a wire dry and make sure the rotor can spin freely in there.  Sometimes moisture just builds up in there.  Also, try to make sure all of your wires are sealed where they go down into the head.  Use silicon(high temp) if necessary.
