Good trails at brown's camp
« on: July 29, 2006, 03:09:58 PM »
I've been up there twice in the samurai and found a couple trails, but I was wondering which trails were everyone's favorite's? So far, the best one i've has been on was cedar tree trail. Also, were is the rock garden? Is there any trails I should avoid, right now I have a spoa, open diff's, and 31x11.5 bias swampers. thanks

TSF has a few good trails, but you might want to aviod 7UP and Little Rubicon, and Crushers until you get a locker.
Powerline,Archers,Cedar Tree,Hogsback,Can Opener,Waterfall are all do able with your rig.
There are 37 trails in TSF for us to run, some are closed for the seasonal BS and do not reopen, some are closed for logging(Hogsback now open after 3 yrs) 7UP needed trail repair, but some friends of mine adopted it so it is now open also.
You can also go to the Trask, there are several trails out there, but they are unmarked to the best of my recolection.it is a fun area to wheel in,close to PDX Metro area also.
Go through Yamhill to the 90 degree corner with the gas station,go left about 20 miles, you can air down and use the pissser at the foot bridgee before heading to the trails.
If you want more info, contact me.
I am in Gresham
