Ok guys

1st .Park the truck  in the garage or work area  set the parking brake
2nd. Disconnect the Negative terminal 10mm wrench
3rd Jack the truck up and make sure with the tire hanging from bottom to ground u have 2" clearence.
4th.Remove the wheels and place them somewere out of the way.
5th. Start by removing the sway bar end links 14mm wrench on the shaft and a 14mm nut make sure u support the ball joint straight and do not allow it to turn
6th. Lets remove the ABS wire 10mm wrench bolt on the strut and 10mm on the frame, and follow the wire up the frame to the connector and disconnect it
7th. Lets remove the brake caliper Take a screw driver and move the caliper over a bit to push some fluid out of the piston back up the the resiour then 17mm lower bolt and 14mm bolt remove them and then take the caliper off and C clip off the strut and hang the caliper out of the way and no strain on the hose.
8th 17mm Wrench remove the tie rod nut. Now if u have a Tie Rod puller use it other wise u can take a hammer and tap the surrounding area while ur buddy prys down on it and it should come out.
9th. Loosen the two upper strut bolts they are a 17mm JUST LOOSEN THEM DO NOT TAKE THEM OUT.
10th Remove the 6 10mm bolts holding the hub locks on and remove that and the C clip with a set of snapp rings and now the axle should be free.
11th Place a jack under the lower control arm and place a bit of lift on it
12th Remove the 19mm Balljoint nut
13th make sure the jack is secure Take a hammer and tapp the lower balljoint out
14th Remove the upper 2 strut bolts and have a buddy lower the control arm and when u get low enought u can drop the spindle down and off the lower ball joint and pull the whole spindle off the truck.
15th Place hand on spring and lower the tennsion on the jack and pull out the spring.
16th Remove the bump stop with a monkey wrench or channel locks
17th Instal the 1/4" Alum spacers 1 only. and retighten the bumpstop
18th Place the 1.5" Spacer up with the machined notch towards up of truck then put the orig black Isolator back in
19th Remove the 3 Upper bolts holding the strut in place and clean dirt off surfaces
20th Take the upper strut hat and remove the 3 studs out.
21st On the strut hole the upper hole take a round file and file the hole 6mm towards the strut to allow the spindle to be pushed in.
22nd On the back of the spindle u will notice a small piece of steel that will need to be ground down to allow the spindle to be pushed in towards the strut.
23rd Place the ALUM 1.5 Strut spacer with the flat notch towards the outside of the truck and tighten the upper 3 bolts.
24th Losen the 17mm bolt front and rear on the control arm bolted to the frame
25th Push the control arm down as far as u can almost straight
26th Place the spring making sure that the lower part of the spring sits in the perch were the notch is
27th Pull on the arm and place the jack on a notch on the control arm and carfully jack the control arm up then reinstall the spindle.
28th When u get the control back up untill u can place the 2 Strut bolts in place and then check everything.
29th Tighten the lower ball joint and the tie rod back in place.
30th Put the abs wire back on the frame and reconnect it
31st reinstall the snap ring on the CV axle and reinstall the 6 bolts holding the hub

NOW GO OVER ALL THE BOLTS AND CHECK THAT THERE ALL TIGHTENED AND ON

2nd Place a jack under the differential
3rd remove the bolts on the top of the shock and lower the rear axle

The rear is pretty easy, with the various problems I ran into it took me close to 16hrs to do the front.  I got the rear done in 2.

I'll post some tips on various things I found when doing my lift, but I probably won't have time until next week.  I'm pretty swamped at work and we are trying to go out camping and take the Tracker out for it's first test  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hey I see you updated the instructions, looks pretty complete now.  Any tips on doing this step?  It seems a lot of people have problems with this, or else they were able to get the springs off and back on without removing the knuckles somehow.

Ive tried a few different methods. This is the safeiest way that way when its all apart u do not have to worry about stuff fling out.

Other tips would be when u get ur suspension apart take a grease gun and some needle point grease tip and the top of ur ball joint and tie rod inject grease in them. The GV here are know for the ball joints and tie rods going dry.

We will be installing the lift finaly on my dads GV ill have more pics this week.
