Are you looking for low profiles? Any other tyre that sticks out that far is going to hit the wheelarch

If this is for the street only and isn't going to be lifted at all, you're gonna need dubs and super low profile rubber... Maybe some spinners, too! LOL! ;D :P ;D
Had a cool sig pic till I changed the text... sigh...

I've been running 235/75s with 15x7 rims and standard off-set
on my 97 Kick with no lift.
It rubs a little bit on the front bottom bumper at full turn but it trims up easily.
and a little in the rear when loaded down.

"trims up easily" = you're gonna need to cut a tad bit off of the bumper where the tire is going to rub...   i'm thinking about getting the 235/75's as well, and i was told (i believe by hotrod himself) that they can fit on the original wheels and with no lift...  but i found the budget 2" suspension lift using GV and e150 springs, and i'm thinking about doing that, so i wouldn't have to trim anything at all, right? either that or just get a set of coil spacers... i haven't studied the price of the springs and all, but i figure the springs and spacers would be about the same price...

ya know, talking about spinners and stuff got me to thinking... what about ordering the calmini 6inch combo lift, and getting a set of those 29" wheels that can't fit on any car?  i saw them on mtv cribs dub edition a long time ago... you'd probably have to have 3 or 4 wheel spacers stacked up to make them fit though..lol...  by the way, i'm joking... i lost interest in big rims not long after i lost interest in racing hondas....  i'm not saying there's anything wrong with it, but when you have a 4-tone paint scheme ( original color, bondo, primer gray, and rust) and bumpers only half way hanging on, and you think you have a bad-ass car, there's something wrong with you....         how i got on this subject, i'll never know... but hopefully, i made a few guys laugh...

When I back up and full right turn, The right front tire rubs on the lower portion of the front plastic bumper.
i don't know about stock wheels even tho my 235/75 spare is on the stock tire.
Which by the way, looks alright and even taller than the 235s on the 15x7 wheels.
REMEMBER.
Rubbins, racing.
and Rubbins good.

hmmm, all i know that i dont care about a little trimming all i care about is getting the biggest tires possible without too much rubbing:P... even if it rubs a little only when i back up and make super tight turns its okay:) how about the offset of the rim? what is that exactly? I would like the tire/rim to stick out a little bit (like 1-2inches) obviously this will cause more rubbing and more trimming... but would it be worth it? I would like to leave a bigger foot print:)

Well, Stock wheels are 15x5.5 (?)
My black steels on the 4dr are 15x7 with, probley, a centered offset (3 1/2"inch)
And I did get a little rub in the rear wheelwells cause of the extra width of the 235s but not with 225s
But Wider is better ;D

I didn't have a lift at that time either.
So, Yes.
235s will rub on the top of the rear wheelwells at full comprestion
(a spring spacer would work good to cure that).
225s won't

Wheel i'll through my two cents in. there is no way to go wider then a 15x7 with out a lift and not have running problems. For some reason suzuki made it so the sidekick have to have a little bit of a postive wheel to work. spacers would get it out there but unless your going for a wider small tire look it will rub. ANd for the records the biggest wheel made as to date is a 28 and it will only fit h2 and newer chevy 8 lugs truck and the only tire on the market is a kumo 325/35/28 which is about 37 inchs tall.

ok, thanks for the $.02.... i'm not rich, so i might consider taking it..  (digs in pocket for a minute, then holds out hand)  but here's a button, some pocket lint, and some string...   i don't know if anyone has ever heard of these, but i was flipping through the back pages of the recent "four-wheeler" magazine, and i found an ad for high-tec retreading... they retread old tires, and are supposed to be just as good as a new set, for a fraction of the cost (they claim about 70%)... all's i know is that the 235/75 tire is only 45 bucks...  i know a lot of times, the testimonial for a product is either fake, paid for, or someone is trying to get a discount on the next order...   that may or may not be the case, but i wouldn't mind trying them out... dang, this is getting cheaper and cheaper... i've got a 48" off-brand hi-lift jack that costed me 30 bucks, a 2 inch suspension lift that shouldn't cost more than a hundred, a full set of "new" tires for under 200.... now all i need is the wheels... i'll probably get them from RRO, if i can't get them at my local autoparts store..  those are around 200 for a set.. oh yeah, i got a 50 dollar cd player, too!!

the hi tec retreads are aweasome...i installed them onto the rims myself....took all of the wheel weights off, and going 60 down the road there is no vibration, hi tec balances these tires while retreading them, the only downfall is an ugly line on the tire where the new tread is bonded to the old carcass...i have put about 2000 miles on these tires....i chose the otr mud tires, which are the most wickid tire they make, and they were 250 shipped to my house...i added a 2" spacer to the tracker, and have had no rubbing issues at all running her thru the fields and stuff around here....the website for the tires is www.high-tec-retreading.com
