body lift from a jeep or toyota??
« on: December 06, 2006, 07:16:11 PM »
hey guys, first and foremost, forgive me for having yet ANOTHER body lift question, because i know there's at least a million of them... if this is deemed unnesesary, go ahead and delete it, block it, or whatever...  anyway, here goes:

i was given a 3 inch body lift that came off of a toyota, and the guy swears up and down that it will work on the tracker (of course, this guy thinks that the tracker has the drivetrain from a toyota, so what would you expect from him?)   i'm sure it would work, but i'd have to have a bolt going from inside the cab, through the block, and then through the frame... right?  if this is the case, then i won't bother with it, just because it seems to be too much hassle, what with cutting off the original bolts and then drilling new holes... but if it is in fact possible to use these without that trouble, can ya tell me how?  i don't want to buy a new body lift kit and i can't find the 3 inch tubing to make my own....

Sorry, won't work.
The Trackers only have 1 through bolt.
the rest of them are bolts mounted to the body.
