an idea and questions
« on: March 02, 2007, 01:32:58 AM »
i have actually been thinking of doing this to a 4 door track/kick for about a month now, and now i might actually do it. my plan would be to swap in a 13brew twin turbo rotary engine and 5 speed manual tranny, sammy t-case, calmini anvil housing, and stock rear axle, except for stronger axleshafts. then add the calmini 3" suspension lift, ome struts and shocks, fabricate new rear shock mounts, a 2" coil spacer lift, and a 3" calmini body lift, for a total of 8 INCHES OF LIFT ON IFS!! i would then add some t-case gears, front lock-rite, rear mini spool, custom bumpers, swing away spare tire carrier, and warn powerplant winch. my only problem with this idea is i dont know if i would be able to fit 35x13.5R15 BFG Krawler's without rear fender trimming. im not worried about the front, ill definetely need to cut it out so i can steer while flexing. this is my only dilemma (other than the fact that i dont currently own a 4 door). so........what do y'all think of this? any input and criticism would be appreciated
