5.38's or 5.13's  How do I know.

With out pulling the third how do I know.   Any coding?

1991 4-dr 4wd...

Car-parts.com says:

1989 Kick

1.6L (TBI), MT, 2 Dr (5.13 ratio)
1.6L (TBI), MT, 4 Dr (5.38 ratio)
1.3L (2BC, 5.63 ratio)
1.6L (TBI), AT (4.63 ratio)


1991 Kick

2 Dr, MT, 5.13 ratio
4 Dr, MT, 5.13 ratio
2 Dr, MT, 5.38 ratio
4 Dr, MT, 5.38 ratio
2 Dr, AT (4.63 ratio)
4 Dr, AT (4.63 ratio)

Think I may have it licked.. (Eeuw)  Turn the front or rear wheels (Both evenly) 3 revolutions.  If the front pinion turns 15.5 it is a 5.13:1,  if the pinion turns 16 it is a 5.38:1

I've seen those listed on car part.com and wonder if they counted right. When you search you don't see any of the 5.38's listed for the rear?
If you find out that there is 5.38's let us know,because i will buy a set,like yesterday.

I thought all autos were 4.62 and manuals 5.12
