Samurai Tires

Was wondering if I can clear 31" tires and how bad would it kill my torque. I have a 1988 samurai with a 1.3 motor, calmini header and exhaust, and weber carb. Thanks.

you may need a few inches of lift, shackle and body lifts are the cheapest route. if your motor runs well then you should be alright.

i got a 31 to fit...the steering was a wee bit limited, not to many cranks left or right before it was rubbing. And it was quite a bit more work taking off from those slightly up hill stop lights.
