http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2186576So we'll be moving hopefully before the end of the summer and I think the Geo won't make the trip. I love it but dunno if I want to have to drag it all the way to North Carolina or find a 3rd driver. Not to mention with no OD highway speeds aren't it's forte. Then there's the annoying rust/leak issues. Nothing horrible but the original plan anyways was to find a good shape one out of the salt belt and transfer my aftermarket parts over.
'96 2 door convertible
-1.6L 16 valve with about 160k on it, leaks a little oil if you let it sit for a few days and smokes on start up but doesn't leak if you drive it regularly and doesn't smoke when warm
-3 speed auto trans, shifts just fine
-soon to have 5.12 gears
-6" Calmini lift system
-31x10.5R15 Wild Country RVT (the muds) with about 4k on them and the center lugs siped
-15x7 steel wheels with 2.5" of backspacing
-31" spacer with matching wheel
-gutted interior, no carpet, backseat, etc
-Herculined exterior half
-Pioneer CD player with I think Sony speakers
-cruise, power steering, and CUP HOLDERS!
-one year old high flow cat, o2 sensors, and 2" exhaust with a Cherry Bomb
-starts up and goes every time, gets 19mpg with the 4.30 gears and should be nicely better after the 5.12s are in.
-check engine light are on but I believe it's just an EGR issue, runs fine
-airbag light is on but I think I connected/disconnected/reconnected something wrong when I was under there putting the new speedo cable in
It's not in perfect shape and is frankly not the prettiest but hey, it's a lifted Tracker on muds with no bumper covers and a coating of Herculiner. Offroaders and Suzuki guys love it but women and metrosexuals hate parking next to it. It's in great shape considering it's a Michigan vehicle since new.
I'm sure I'm forgetting stuff but that's the highs and lows.
