Does anyone know the PSI for a 1997 tracker engines fuel line? Any external fuel pumps from other vehicels that will work with it?

I think they run like 55 psi for starting and around 34 psi for running, I use a 1988 ford f 150 external fuel pump frame mounted, it would be the second pump on the ford the high pressure one, the cheapest place I could find was trail tough, like 79.00 or so.

What do you do with the stock internal pump if you wanna run an after market frame mounted pump?

I think if you leave the stock one in there it will suck the fuel through it. I would put the new pump inline between the old pump and the fuel filter, there is a screen on the stock pump that should be ok for the new pump.

The pump needs to be wired to the Fuel Pump Relay. Easiest way is to disconnect the wires from the stock pump and connect them to the new pump. Is this for an engine swap or because of a faulty pump?
