Samurai engine help - Portland Oregon
« on: October 09, 2007, 07:10:57 PM »
I have a '87 Samurai with a bad engine.  Does anyone know good/reputable shops/mechanics in the Portland Oregon area that can replace/rebuild the engine?  I'm an accountant, not a mechanic.

I plan to (probably) stay stock with the 1.3 engine, though might consider the 1.6 Sidekick upgrade.

BTW - drove the Sami out of the '87 auto show in Portland - wouldn't let me drive through the Coliseum, but got to drive it out the door!  Have about 135K miles now.  It was the only teal color one in the area.
