Clutch Sticking HELP!!!
« on: November 15, 2007, 01:30:09 PM »
Ok so I have a 91 sammy with a centerforce 2.  When I start my sammy the clutch pedal sticks to the floor, i have to get out with the car started in nuetral and yank on my cable where it goes into the tranny and then the cable pops back out,  It seems to be binding up inside the tranny.  I can then jump in the car and drive if I dont push the pedal in too far when I shift.  Does anyone have any clue what it could be?  Thanks in advance

Usually, the problem is a frayed cable binding inside the cable sheath.

Most likely the cable. Otherwise it could be a sticky thrust bearing - have you been driving in a lot of mud?
