As for C.O.G.  I have 7-8 inch of suspention lift only with the front sway bar removed.  I have 14" of clearance in the center of the truck (Ground to bottom of frame).

I've never had a problem with the center being too high.  It's amazing what you can go through with that much clearance on 32" MTR's.

57" from the ground to wheel well ??? Holy smokes Batman. A stock height kick is only 31" and my kick with a hybred calmini 3" susp. lift with a 2" body lift only measures 42" from the ground to the rear wheel well at the highest point. Thats like a 27" lift talk about a high COG. Looks good though.

I think he means with the fork lift holding the truck up and all 4 wheels still on the ground.  The wheel well is 57" from the ground in the bottom picture.

Making the new control arms with a more forward position for the wheel is a great idea.  I guess the reason calmini didn't do that is because you would need a longer cv shaft to reach, which would add more money to the kit, and more work.

I'm pretty sure that the Calmini arms do place the wheel a little further forward. Next time I have my suspension apart I'll check but I do recall that the driveshafts are around 1" further extended. That was why I couldn't run the OME shocks and the 2" strut spacers.

I'd like to see a good picture of this kit from the rear so we can see the angle of the axle. One from front on too. Its difficult to compare articulation from side on and angled shots. Everyone has different size tyres and different body lifts which makes the distance between the tyre and wheel arch different.

We'll take a quick minute to answer some questions we saw.
From ground to bottom of front diff 14.75" w/ 31" tires on 4.5" lift. You can still use factory front skid plate but small mod has to be made to clear frt diff housing.  Ground to centre of frame(middle of truck) 15.75". We have one other flex pic, taken more of a front angle, unfortunetely we were in a rush to take these and only have a few.  This truck was running 31" tires, 4.5" lift, no body lift. In this pic we turned the front tire to the position where they rub most and as you can see under compression we still have daylight between tire and factory wheel well.  That truck is now back under the knife...2" body lift, bumpers, 33's, etc, etc....

Totally sick flex in the back.  Front: probably not so much w/ the ifs.  When you market the 99+ kits, please be sure to offer the crazy-flexy rear-end bits as an option like you do w/ your gen 1 3" & 4" kits.  ::)

that's a solid 2inches more in the center of the frame than i have on my 03 with my current lift!  i hope the gen2 lift will be very similar in ride height.  would required front flex pics though!  even though i'm quite sure the front really doesn't flex anymore than it would with my current lift  ???  please prove me wrong!

The flex is great, but ground clearance measurements really mean a lot to me.  Thanks for putting those up.

This is the reason i'm re-doing my suspension to a hybrid OME/Calmini suspension, to achieve more ground clearance firstly, and secondly for more flex (in the rear).

Wow, 15" of clearance is AWESOME especially with our short wheelbases. Add a body lift and 33" tires...oh my I can hardly contain myself!
