Help! Can't quite remove my tranny!!!
« on: March 31, 2008, 08:36:24 PM »
Hey guys, I've been doing some major work on my Sidekick this last little bit. I pulled the t-case and tonight I tried to yank the transmission out. It came back about 3/4 of an inch, then clunked and wouldn't slide back any further. It seems like something is caught inside at the front, probably something in the bellhousing. Any advice would be great, I want to go wheeling soon!

there is a little dust plate on the bottom front of the bell housing with four small bolts that take like a ten mm wrench, see if that is still on there!
