i recently bought a 87 with a 1.6 vw turbo diesel it seems like the rubber hoses between the injectors are leaking there are no clamps at the base of the hoses and it doesent seem like there is enough room for any. does anyone know of any wasy to stop the fuel leak?     thanks

sorry it took so long to reply been busy at work. i paid 1200.00 needs some body work, but runs good has lockers front and rear full roll cage with jeep suspension and 33" tires. i guess the guy really needed the money. i replaced the hoses and the leak seems to have stoped. i have it all torn apart right now so as soon as i get it back together ill post some before and after pics.
