No Check Engine Light???
« on: May 12, 2008, 11:43:13 AM »
So, as I type this, my daily driver (1995 4-door Kick) is sitting in the garage, here at work, with 200,001 miles on the odometer.  I FINALLY turned it over for the second time!!!  And STILL no major malfunctions!

I was betting that the CEL would come on at 200K.  I was wrong.  Maybe it never comes on after 120,000?

Cheers!
Bob

;) Way to go Bob! These things seem to be pretty tough. Old Suzuki's never die, they just rust away.

Congrats on the 200K mark. I was thinking that there is one more mileage trigger after the 120K, but I can not remember when mine triggered.   :-\

Yeah, unless you live in Colorado, and then they don't even rust.   8)

Hey Bob, I used to live in Colorado, sure do miss it. I guess the no rust thing explains all the old cars still on the road!

Hmm...that would have been a few years ago.  Maybe so, I don't remember.
What really amazes me, is that my wife's 99 Grand Vitara is over 190,000 miles!

The low mileage vehicle, is the Gnewt, with only 136,000 on it!
