Old trick is to tie a string around the pulleys, measure string and take that # to parts store. Any counter dude worth his salt will know that the part # of belts is also the length. Example for V-belts 17335 is 17/32" wide and 33.5" long.Serpentine belts are almost the same. 775K6 is a 6 rib belt 77.5"long. There are some other numbering systems out there but they all kinda use the same principle. Most alternator belts are a 15/32" width BTW.
