Newbie in need of help on a homemade 3''+ supension lift.

Hi guys,  :)
I an new to this forum so I will introduce myself. My name is Gui, I am from Brasil  and I own an 94 2dr soft top vitara 8). I already have and 2'' suspension( coil spacer) lift and I intend to go higher. I do not need to be cheap but getting calmini's quite expensive and making my own things is fun so I would rather fabricate myself some nice stuff.
I have tought to try those...but I want to know If anyone has tried and it did not work... ;D

-Can I keep the 2''strut spacer and the 2'' coil spacer that I alerady have and get some 1'' longer coils and use limiting straps...
quite like this guy did
http://www.k9rdj.co.uk/vitara/vitlift.htm

-I found out here about an old procomp 2,5'' lift that had diff lowering mounts and a arms lowering mounts, I saw that it can be fabricated, I thought about using this concept, but I do not know if I lower the diff and a arms more 1'' can I put on a 3'' strut spacer and 3'' longer coils?
perhaps I could just use the diff lowering brackets? could I also widen the A arms mounts? :D

-The last thing I tought was to try and fabricate( copy the calminis) longer A arms, fabricate a 3'' strut spacer and use a 3'' longer coils and the diff lowering brackets, has anyone tried to do this?
Has anyone tried to estretch the suzuki's A arm? :D

I read that the limiting factor right now is the strut, has it been tried to make a double A suspension?
I also read somewhere that the cv shaft max angle is 20 degrees, is that correct? But something I have not found anywhere is how much can the cv shaft stretch? ???
If I get a better  cv shaft can I angle them more and forget about the rest??? ???
I also understand that using longer cv shafts will easy the angles, we could fit longer cv shafts by moving the diff forwards or perhaps backwards and the wheels foward in a custom A arm?

Sorry if this sounds like an old issue, I have read lots of topics already... but I could not find those answers anywhere. And sorry to ask out too much but this is the first time I see some guys taking the IFS seriously instead of discarding it.
mudding aroung : ) in counryside São Paulo.

Welcome to Zukiworld. If you use the search feature you can answer most of those questions but you have to ask in detail as you may get alot of results back. I was in your shoes awhile back as I got interested in the Zuks and building the IFS. Alot of guys use spacers but I prefer long travel springs. I have Boondox Motorsports  3" lift springs on one of mine and they work great. Alot of flex and smooth ride on the road.

Wow. You have alot of questions. I have to call it a night right now but I may get a chance to answer some of them tomorrow.
