If I move to Texas ?
« on: March 24, 2009, 04:15:23 PM »
Just wondering if I move to Texas around the cleburne (dallas/fortworth area) will there be anywhere to wheel ? I am just wondering if it will be worth it to take my 94' tracker from Iowa to Texas or not ?
Thanks,
Raz

The reason I ask: My son and I like to wheel but the wife couldn't care less so I am sure the tracker will be up for sale if it was her choice.

I have moved to Texas Last Christmas! I am also in the Dfw area. There are some areas to wheel around here. I am still feeling things out. Barnwell mountain is approx 3 hours away. I was there about 3 weeks ago. Good wheeling. Katemcy rocks is about the same distance. Never been. Awesome rockcrawling from what I am told, but unfortunately it is closing as of end of June. There are a couple about an hour away. One isnt really open yet but should be soon. We hope! So there are a few places if you don't mind driving a bit.

well on my random off road video searches, it looks like there are a lot of dried up river beds and what not, and rock crawling galore.
