If so, how fun is life at that point?  Because i'm hoping to be in that boat sooner or later.

I run 33x12.5 without power steering, don't mind in the slightest.  :)

In DD vehicles apparently it gets tiring when moving around parking lots and on trails.  Once you are moving though, you don't really notice a difference.

on my 235's im fine. going to try some 30's when it gets its lift. see how it is... girlfriend hates driving it because of the manual steering... i love it... makes it a bit more truckish...

Like the drone-man sez -

It's only difficult - and really not that much - when you are driving slow like in a parking lot or on the trail.

I have 30" BFG ATs and, at 59, I'm able to deal with it in a daily-driver basis with minimal whineing.   ;D

Maybe someday, when I feel exceptionally lazy and flush with PowerBall money, I MIGHT install power steering.

Remember, this ain't a Crown Vic or an F-150 we are talking about.

I'm running 32" Super Swamper TSL radials with full time front lockers and no power steering. Not really a problem. I may someday add ps, but I'm not in a great hurry.

awesome, i wasn't really to worried, i prefer manual steering over power steering but thats only been on cars.  All the trucks/SUVs i've owned have had power steering.  Anyways, thanks for the input, i wanted to make sure i wasn't going to run into major issues with a lift and some tires.

I'll be the first to admit, I'm  lazy! :sleepy:  I like the PS, mostly in the parkin lots,  but it also comes in handy in the trails when your tires are buried in mud or jammed against a tree, and you really need them to stay pointed the way you want 'em.

I run 31" tires. If you don't need to air down, it's only kinda the suck. If you need to air down AT ALL,  it's THE SUPER DUPER SUCK. I'll never go over 29" again without P/S.

I run 33's on mine with power steering but recently did the gm alternator upgrade and forgot to put the belt back on. It wasn't to bad till i got on the more rocky technical stuff. It is really helpful there!

Same here, but when I buy new tires this fall(33's) I will be putting on power steering. Not just for easier steering, but also to act as a stabilizer.

I didn't mind 30 x 9.50's on my tracker, but a good deal on a ps made me switch. Now its great on trails and parking lots.
