I have a 96 2 door, and know of a lot of older trackkicks with good sending units, but wasnt sure if they are the same. please post asap. thanks

Hey I don't know for sure, but according to alldata they all use the same one.  Anyone confirm this?  I don't 100% trust alldata for part numbers.

Before you rush out and buy a sender unit check the wiring behind the rear light cluster and also the connection to the top of the tank.

X2, make sure its getting power, & sender is grounded right as well as the gauge. If you have bad circuits, a new one won't work any better & you'll spend $ & time for nothing.  :(
