Missing on idle?
« on: August 20, 2004, 05:20:48 PM »
Subject says it all :P  When my sidekick is idling around 900 it seems to miss a spark or two.  When I rev it up a bit it hesitates than run fine.  Once is back down in idle range it misses again.  Looking to regap some old plug to see if it help.  What is the size of the gap for a 95 sidekick with the 16v engine.  Any thing else I should check?  Thanks all.

Cap and wires, I doubt any thing
else would cause an intermittent miss
other than the plugs

ya, my samurai was missing on idle, one plug was gapped wrong.
when you rev it up it seems to even out and you dont even notice it... i didnt notice a power difference either which is weird, but re gapping solved my whole problem
