Turkish 3" Suspension Kit Link
« on: April 17, 2009, 02:58:23 PM »
Hey all.....I found this a little while ago and forgot to post it for everyone to see.  There's a 3" suspension kit, along with other products being sold by a company in Turkey.  The really cool thing is that if the international shipping would be reasonable, this kit translates to only about $515 USD (I've converted from Turkish Lire to US Dollars, hopefully that's right).  Anyway, it has control arms like CALMINI, along with many many other useful bits.  Check it out:

There's a link near the top to get the english version of the site.  Lots of cool stuff on this site!

They are advertising they have 5.72 ring and pinion gears for Grand Vitaras.  They also show some nice front and rear bumpers for GVs too.

If you take a close look at that kit, it looks like the calmini sidekick 3 inch kit painted yellow. I have drop brackets in my 99 tracker now and they look nothing like those brackets. Also the rear upper control arm is for a sidekick...not GV. Maybe there is some translation and model differences between the Turkish grand vit and the North american grand vit. Do some research before you purchase this kit for your grand vitara.

Also just noticed that the their Vitara (sidekick) 3 inch kit is the exact same photo and grand vitara kit.

Yeah....maybe they're using the same picture as the kit for earlier generation trucks on the site, but they definitely have a kit for Grand Vitaras.  You can see it installed here:

and here:

I won't be purchasing it anytime soon....I already have CALMINI.  I just wanted to point it out to anyone who might be interested.  It's certainly waaaaaaay cheaper and more complete than Rocky Road, CALMINI, FTS of Taiwan or anything else I've seen.  If this kit does contain control arms, drop brackets, etc. it really is a good deal.

Dunno about the landcruiser part, but the 2.5/2.7/2.0 airboxes are all the same.  Same parts, same location.

I used a Safari from a 4 cylinder Toyota pickup...fit like it was made for it.
