ok i want to see if i can do this with running suzuki parts (not having to get different latches) i want to change from the shoulder style seat belts for the rear bench over to just lap belts. i want to do this to get the seat belt towers out of the truck.

the towers are in the way most of the time, with the top down they look retarded, and i don't have rear passengers anyway most of the time, but would like to still be able to get people in if the need arises.

i need to keep some of the tower base for the hardtop to mount to but i can rebuild something else to take its place. interior panels from the hardtop 2 door models should fit the same location correct? so that it extends all the way back to the corner?


but what i cant find is a picture to get an idea of it would work at all (is the mount for the seatbelts the same? would it directly swap?
