Need Help with offset!!
« on: August 11, 2009, 09:36:36 AM »
Hey, I'm new on here. I just bought my first Zuki (actually a Tracker). The search was long and hard here in Nova Scotia but ive been looking for one for a while.

Heres my problem. Im going to get a cheap ebay lift (for the time being) 2" coil spacers with a 3" body lift. I want to run 33x12.5x15 all the way around. What sort of offset will i have to run? I want the minimum amout of trimming and i still sort of need to be "legal".

Thanks for the help guys.

Bare minimum you'll need a 15" x 8" wheel with 3.5" backspacing. Unless you're buying new, have a look around for early Bronco, and Jeep CJ wheels in that size. Rim width is measured inside the bead seat.

where are you in NS? I've got some 10's and some 8's that would work for you. A few sets of 8's that run real good on the trackers. Not too much offset. I've got some nice 10's but that might be too wide for you. I'm In Moncton, NB

I run 32x9.5's with 3" suspension and 2" body lift. You may find that those tires will rub a lot on the front and back. My rear tires just barley stuff into the rear fender wells with factory Ford wheels off a F150. Not to sure what the off set is on my rims but they are 15x8.

What years of broncos and what years of CJ's should I be keeping my eyes out for? I might just end up buying new rims.

All CJ's and the early full size Bronco. Also some F150 4x4's, but you need to watch that the center hub hole is the large size.
