« on: October 04, 2009, 11:50:32 PM »
Ive been looking for the perfect offroad vechile and decided to get a Samurai. So the task of finding a killer deal on one. All the ones in my area were 2000+. My uncle had one so i was asking him about them and he said just buy my so i did. I just got back yesterday from getting it. It was in Lake havasu so 250 Dollars in gas later i towed it back. Here it is. It has SOA, extended shackles, new top and battery. It runs good but wont pass smog.

Congrats.  You could move to Illinois where there is not smogging on pre 1996 vehicles.  But of course there is nowhere to go wheeling here either.

Its in amazin shape. Runs smooth but needs a clutch and has a minor rear corner panel damage. Is the clutch hard to do?

clutch is not bad to do. best advice that i can give is to cut your stock crossmember to make removel easer and reinstall by building a way to make it strong yet removable later. They tend to wear out when ya play to much...LOL
