carb vs efi

carb vs efi

What is the big difference between carb and efi while 4x4ing. I herd that the carb stalls alot more but i was also wondering is there a difference between the horsepower in the two. Thanks any more info would help

As I understand it a carb has issues when at odd angles with the fuel level in the float bowl.  Causes it to get starved for fuel.

I have run carb samurais, and my 94 tracker. FI doesnt have any hesitations, smoother response, and of course the bigger motor that comes with FI = more horsepower.  As mentioned in another post possible angle issues when wheeling, but my carbs have never had those, but carbs tend to have them depending on age of carb, etc...

i've experienced some of the off level problems, but have more confidence in being able to repair any problems i may have when out in the middle of nowhere.
too many things |removethispart|@efi i don't understand.
'89 kick w/little motor, still got pieces of jeff's pucks, stan's sticks into 4.24:1 tcase, 31x10.5x15's, rear lockrite, kick power steering, some radios(kj6esv), bmw seat, other changes just because. done on the cheap.
