apparently I didnt remember my sammy was a special edition when I saw it the last few times,  but when I bought it, I noticed it on the doors and dash.  

what all is different about this model versus te rest?  or is it just like some special graphics and interior stuff?    The picture is of my vehicle while I was in the process of bleeding brakes and cleaning stuff up so I can figure out what all it needs really.

Here is the window tag on my 87 Delux 2

I had an 87 SE. and I have the parts catalog from suzuki.  87s come in metalic grey, matching bumpers, matching grill with white around the head lights.  no tags on front fenders, S on each side of targa, split rear seats, Black and grey upholstery with red strips, full length door panels, Grey wheels, decals, special edition on dash, a silver soft top with twin windows or twin sunroofs over the front seats, and the JX package.  On mine, I think that it had a lighter colored carpet.

Some dealers taged some JXs as special editions with the lables, but the VIN did not show that it was.  Mine wass a real SE, but the dealer put on aftermarket wheels, and painted graphics.

I think thats all that I can remember.  I sold mine, probably shouldnt have.

dont know much about the 86 but they were blue.
