trail tough spool installation queston

so i installed the spool in the diff. and im concerned if the ring and pinion are lined up correctly. how will i know if its set right still?
1991 Geo Tracker 33" super swampers + 4" lift + minor fender trimming + locker = unstoppable!

The correct way to do it is use some chalk to make sure your teeth mesh properly.  If you check out acksfaq.com and do a search for locker there are several write-ups.

As long as you marked the position of the carrier bearing adjusters and placed them back in the exact same location as before, then the ring and pinion backlash and carrier bearing preload is set correctly (assuming they were set at factory specs before removal).
If you didn't mark anything before teardown and just threw it back together, then it is very likely that they are not set right.
