Well as luck will have it my zuki's water pump has rusted! and it is trowing out all the engine coolant, so off to the agent it goes to have that fixed, also i mgith be replaceing my dampers and fixing a slight prob with my indicator. Then when i get my zuki back i am getting a new set of rims and tires for it
and maybe a new steerin wheel, handbrake, gearknob and some more goodies! will keep you posted, just hope they don't need to order some parts from suzuki, cos the lastime i ordered some parts it took 3 months!

timing belt is new already, so that don't need changing.
As for the rust, well i guess it had to happen, i mean the engine is 11 years old now, and this is the first thing to ever break on it!

mine is a 91 and the water pump is still tickin..double check the coolant mix from now on..just incase that did have something to do with it
i know its a stupid suggestion but i would change the radiator hoses also..some people either forget or just think it isnt worth it..id rather have peice of mind =)

Properly cared for you should not have
any rust problems, the coolant does get
on the acidic side tho if not changed about
every 2 years.
Another good reason to change hoses every
2-3 years
