Great pics, and good going on the first outing with no major issues! The turbos do seem to eat fuel at a higher rate than a normally asperated engine does, but hey, you didn't build that thing for economy or you would have left the stock engine in it right?
That scenery makes me want to trip out there even more, especially now that my daughter and grand daughter are in Portland.

Best I've ever squeezed outa mine is 22 on the highway at a steady 65. That's with lots of restraint, keeping out of the boost range. If I play around a lot, getting boost whenever I feel like it that mileage figure goes out the window. Your milage may vary

In my Audi with the same motor I never saw close to 20. I promise you it was me . I dont see the reason of having a turbo if you are not boosting.
