1988 Suzuki Samurai prices
« on: May 31, 2011, 08:45:43 PM »
I received this as a gift four years ago because my grandpa got tired of it and could not find a buyer willing to pay the price he wanted.  I currently live in a place where there are public areas to go off the main road.  However, I am moving, my wife has also had some health problems over the past year, and could use the extra money.  It does not have power steering, I think the carburetor might need some work or replaced, no AC, and for some reason it has be over heating recently.  There is no rust of the body of it.  There is some on the cattle guard. I'm not much of a mechanic.  What would be a fair asking price?

I gave $1000 for an 88 that was not as pretty as yours, but my engine doesn't overheat.  But after tweaking it and driving it, and putting some money in it, I would not sell for less than $3000. , unless of course, I had a replacement. It is too fun to drive.
